Motor City Candleworks began in Detroit in 2004. Originally, we started with one product line, our unique Detroit Scents of History™ candles. Since then, we have added Great Lakes Scents and Motor City Incense. We now offer incense nationally under the brands Downtown Lights Premium Incense and Rockaway Brand Incense.

Our own historic digs

All of our candles are made right here in the Motor City in a shop located inside the old Murray Body Works factory complex, now called Russell Industrial Center.
