Fundraising Program Terms & Agreement

Motor City Candleworks Fundraising Program is available to non-profit organizations, community groups, sports organizations, Aschools, churches, choirs and other not-for-profit groups. Our Fundraising Program is not available to for-profit individuals or organizations.

By participating in and making a purchase through the Motor City Candleworks Fundraising Program, I certify that I am approved to act on behalf of a qualified organization. I guarantee that we will conduct our campaign according to the terms in this agreement. I further guarantee that all funds raised during the course of our campaign will be used for the legitimate, charitable needs of the organization I represent. I understand that Motor City Candleworks reserves the right to reject any application to participate in this Fundraising Program without explanation or cause.

Purchases
Qualified organizations and individuals acting on behalf of qualified organizations are allowed to purchase Motor City D-Lights™ for the special price of $1.06 each ($153.00/case). No other discounts, offers, free D-Lights™ or coupons may be applied to these orders. Organizations are responsible for shipping costs. Purchases may be made online using Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express or Paypal; via telephone using Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express; and via mail via check. Checks must clear before order will be filled.

No Risk Guarantee
Motor City Candleworks wants you to be successful in your campaign. Therefore, Motor City Candleworks agrees to buy back any unsold Motor City D-Lights™ returned in good condition. Buy back price will be the same price organization paid for product originally. Organization must keep inventory for at least 30 days but not more than 90 days to be eligible for a refund. All shipping costs are responsibility of organization. If making a return, organization will notify Motor City Candleworks via email or telephone to receive instructions on where to return merchandise. Customized D-Lights™ are not eligible for the No Risk Guarantee.

Additional profits through Coupon Sales
With every case of Motor City D-Lights™ ordered, Motor City Candleworks will include specially coded coupons to be distributed with every sale. Extra coupons may be used for potential customers that do not make a purchase at the current time. The coupons entitle customers to 10% off purchases made at motorcitycandleworks.com and expire in approximately 3 months. All purchases made using this coupon code will generate an additional 15% of the net sale amount for the organization. Payout will be made approximately 2 weeks after the expiration of the coupon.

Safety
Candles are never to be left unattended or burned without adult supervision. Votive candles are to be burned in a tight-fitting votive candle holder. All candles should be burned only on a stable, heat resistant surface.

Motor City Candleworks and its suppliers cannot be held accountable for any damages caused by our products due to misuse, abuse, failure to follow instruction included with product or negligence on your part in the use of our products. Motor City Candleworks cannot be held liable for any accidents or bodily injury involved in the act of fundraising. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Motor City Candleworks, its officers, directors, employees and suppliers, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of our products.
