How do we get started?
Read the Fundraising Agreement here. Click on the agree button at the bottom of the Agreement. From there, you will be directed to the Fundraising Orders page. Online orders may be paid with Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express or PayPal.
Alternatively, you may call (313) 254-4799 to order using a credit card. Also, mail orders may be sent directly to Motor City Candleworks with payment by check.
Customized D-Lights™ require preparation. Just call us and we'll help you through the process.
What is the minimum order?
Minimum order is one case. Case quantity is 144 Motor City D-Lights™. Individual scents must be ordered in lots of 12. Partial case orders are allowed as long as the one case minimum has been reached.
Customized D-Lights™ must be ordered once scent per case.
Are there any other charges?
Only for shipping charges. See the next question for more information on shipping charges.
Who pays for shipping?
The organization pays for shipping charges. Shipping is $12. per order.
How long will it take to receive our order?
We take pride by making each of our candles by hand. They are made in small batches to assure they are fresh and at the peak of fragrance. In most cases, orders are filled in 48-72 hours. Customized D-Lights™ may require a few days longer. If any unusually delay occurs, you will be notified immediately.
What is the No Risk Guarantee?
Motor City Candleworks wants you to be successful in your campaign. Therefore, Motor City Candleworks agrees to buy back any unsold Motor City D-Lights™ returned in good condition. Buy back price will be the same price organization paid for product originally. Organization must keep inventory for at least 30 days but not more than 90 days to be eligible for a refund. All shipping costs are responsibility of organization. When making a return, organization will notify Motor City Candleworks via email or telephone to receive instructions on where to return merchandise. Customized D-Lights™ are not eligible for the No Risk Guarantee.
Who is eligible to participate?
Non-profit organizations, community groups, sports organizations, schools, churches, choirs and other not-for-profit groups. Our Fundraising Program is not available to for-profit individuals or organizations. We have a company policy not to support hate groups or any other offensive organizations. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any organization without explanation or cause.

Do you offer anything other than Motor City D-Lights™ for fundraising?
We also have an Affiliate Program. Organizations that participate in our
Affiliate Program put a specially coded link on their site to our site. Customers who come via this link are identified at purchase as being referred by your organization.
